This year, Kelley Admissions is looking for a 3.8 GPA and a minimum 30 ACT or a 1370 SAT. Although Indiana is test optional, students who do not submit test scores and want to be directly admitted to Kelley, will need to submit a review request by February 1. However, if you do not meet the minimum requirements, you are encouraged submit this review request early and can do so before you even receive an admission decision. This review request does include additional essays.
Jacobs School of Music: IU's Jacobs School of Music is recognized globally for its excellence in classical and contemporary music education. Students in this program benefit from world-class faculty, state-of-the-art performance spaces, and frequent opportunities to perform in both large-scale productions and more intimate settings. Jacobs also has a direct admit policy for students who demonstrate exceptional musical talent and academic achievement. A supplemental application is required for applicants interested in being admitted to Jacobs. Many of the programs do require a prescreen recording and/or additional materials. Live auditions and interviews will be offered over three weekends early in the year with some additional opportunities available depending on your location.
